Updated Building Code

2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) recently adopted by the State of Montana require actions be taken regarding: Insulation / Fenestration (windows) / Tested air leakage

First tier energy audit

This audit uses no technology

• Provide complete walk through of your building addressing the common and uncommon areas to find problems
• Recommend the simplest solutions possible to achieve a positive impact
• Final report indicating what was found and what to do to address the problems
  

Second tier energy audit

This audit is based on a "blower-door" test (simulating air leakage and calculating how much occurs)

• Includes First tier
• Mechanical testing to determine amount of air leakage
• Final report includes details of findings and recommendations

Third tier energy audit

This audit is based on the use of blower-door test and thermographic camera

• Includes First and Second tier solutions
• Thermographic infrared camera imaging
• Reporting of all findings.
• Thermographic report includes up to 20 images

Additional services:

• Thermographic Insulation verification services
• Thermographic scan for water leaks (roofs / walls / floors)
• Furnace duct leakage testing (usually, but not always, for un-insulated spaces)
• Radiant floor location and verification services
• Pre-construction consultation
