is for us to identify what needs to be fixed.

What do I do once I
have the information from Fill THE Gap?
- The energy audit will include reports of findings and a report of
recommendations. We also provide a list of specific contractors,
whom we trust, who can fix the areas in question. What you do will
depend on how much money you want to spend to fix a given problem.
What is included in
a heat loss audit?
- The services bought.
- Reports for each of the testing steps.
- Recommendations with respect to our findings.
How long does it take?
- A house can take as little as an hour and a half. A 10,000 sq foot
building could take a day or more, depending on the scope of the
project.
Will you harm my business
or home?
- No. Our services are non-destructive. All the work we perform is
accomplished without getting into walls or tearing things apart.
We leave that work to professionals fixing the areas of concern.
What do you do with
your thermographic camera?
- The camera reads the surface temperature of any object. This information
is critical to assessing a given set of circumstances.
- We locate missing insulation
- We identify air leaks
- Unexpected findings with the camera lead to additional searches
for the cause of the anomaly.
What does a blower
door test tell me?
- A blower door test tells you about how much air/heat is leaking
from your building.
- It can tell you that if there is not enough air fresh air coming
into the home that you may need mechanical ventilation.
